Mariners lose 7-6 to Angels in spring training

Seattle fell to 3-7 on the spring following a late collapse. Bryan Woo allowed two runs in the third inning, while reliever Michael Rucker failed to protect the lead. Offensively, Patrick Wisdom and Rhylan Thomas both homered against Angels starter George Klassen.

Klassen struck out four batters using his changeup, while Woo tallied four strikeouts across 2.1 innings. Reliever Casey Legumina also surrendered a two-run homer to Jeimer Candelario in the seventh inning, sealing the Angels' victory.
