McVay Unfazed if Pass Rule Change Fails

Rams coach Sean McVay won't be 'losing any sleep' if the NFL rejects the team's proposal to treat tipped backward passes similarly to fumbles in certain situations.

Following the controversial two-point play in their Week 16 game against Seattle, the Rams have proposed multiple rule changes. McVay explained that the team wants tipped backward passes that cross the line of scrimmage to fall under the same parameters as fumbles, preventing teams from advancing them favorably.

The Rams also proposed a 40-second limit on booth reviews to address the lengthy delay that preceded the review of the Seahawks' failed two-point conversion. 'If it doesn't go through, I'm not losing any sleep over it,' McVay said of the proposal.
