The Denver Nuggets already have the league's #1 offense by offensive rating, points per game and 3-point percentage.
But according to one veteran NBA insider, the Nuggets want more.

During an appearance Thursday night on the DLLS Dallas Mavericks podcast, Marc Stein reported that the Nuggets would "love" to get their hands on former NBA champion Khris Middleton -- should he secure a contract buyout from the Mavericks.

Middleton, dealt to Dallas from the Washington Wizards in the Anthony Davis blockbuster earlier this month, has played six games for the Mavericks and has done practically what he's always done: knock down the 3-ball.
Middleton is shooting 38.1 percent from behind the arc in Dallas, close to his career average of 38.5 percent. The three-time All-Star is in his 14th NBA season and would no doubt like to add a second championship to the title he won with Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021.
The Nuggets shoot better than 39 percent from 3-point range as a team, and Denver averages better than 120 points per game. But since superstar center Nikola Jokic's return from a knee injury, the Nuggets have just a 5-6 record and have slipped to fourth in the Western Conference.
Adding a veteran shooter like Middleton would fortify Denver's rotation, in hopes that the Nuggets leapfrog the Houston Rockets and snag the #3 seed in the West come April.
