Stewart, Plum Voice CBA Frustrations in WNBPA Letter

Breanna Stewart and Kelsey Plum, two WNBPA executive committee members, expressed frustrations about lack of player involvement in CBA negotiations in a letter to executive director Terri Jackson.

The WNBA's collective bargaining agreement negotiations are facing internal unrest as two of the league's biggest names, Breanna Stewart and Kelsey Plum, reportedly aired their frustrations in a letter to WNBPA executive director Terri Jackson. The players expressed concerns about "the lack of adequate player involvement" in the CBA process with the March 10 deadline for a verbal agreement approaching.

In their three-page letter obtained by ESPN, the players reportedly expressed "immense gratitude" for Jackson's leadership but said they are "frustrated" with the lack of progress close to the deadline. They requested detailed information on WNBA expenses and revenue, comparative analyses of potential losses versus gains, results of a player survey, details on rookie salaries, and information on distributions from OneTeam Partners, stating the executive committee cannot fulfill its role without this information.
