Jaguars Target Georgia DT Christen Miller in Draft

The Jacksonville Jaguars are looking to add depth and pass-rush power to their interior defensive line, with Pro Football Focus analyst Ryan Smith pointing to Georgia defensive tackle Christen Miller as the ideal draft pick.

The Jaguars finished last season with the league’s top run defense but still lack a consistent interior pass rush. Ryan Smith of Pro Football Focus says the best‑case scenario is landing Georgia defensive tackle Christen Miller, a 6‑ft‑4, 310‑lb player who was the top run‑defender at his position in 2025 (90.2 PFF run‑defense grade).

Miller also posted an 11.3 pass‑rush win rate from the interior and has 38 pressures and a sack over 1,031 snaps in the past three seasons. Though he may fall to the Jaguars in the latter part of the first round, he is the fifth‑ranked DT on Mel Kiper’s board and could provide the pass‑rush edge the team needs.
