Carmel Extends 12‑Year Title Streak at IHSAA Boys Swimming Finals

Carmel High School captured its 12th straight IHSAA boys swimming championship with 408 points, outpacing Penn and Homestead. Evansville-area swimmers earned top finishes, including Ozzy Jankowski’s third in the 100‑fly and Caden Zeidler’s fifth in the 100‑free.

Carmel High School finished the IHSAA boys swimming and diving state tournament on Feb. 28 with 408 team points, extending its title streak to 12 years and out‑distancing Penn (247) and Homestead (201). In individual events, Mount Vernon’s Ozzy Jankowski earned third in the 100‑fly (48.69) and fourth in the 100‑back (49.74), while Memorial’s Caden Zeidler took fifth in the 100‑free (45.59) and seventh in the 50‑free (20.84).
