Scott McLaughlin Claims Pole at St. Petersburg Grand Prix

Team Penske’s Scott McLaughlin secured the pole position for the IndyCar season-opening Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

McLaughlin turned in a strong lap of 1:00.5426 to top the field, starting alongside Andretti Global’s Marcus Ericsson on the front row. Rookie Dennis Hauger rounded out the top three in the Firestone Fast Six.
