Colts Allow Richardson to Seek Trade

The Indianapolis Colts have granted permission to quarterback Anthony Richardson to seek a trade after he lost the starting QB competition to Daniel Jones.

The No. 4 pick in the 2023 draft, Richardson has struggled with injuries and inconsistent performance during his NFL career. He lost out to Jones for the 2025 starting job, and the Colts plan to keep Jones as their long-term quarterback.

Richardson has started just 15 games in his career, completing only 50.6% of his passes. Despite being just 23 years old, his trade value remains uncertain as teams evaluate his injury history and development needs.
