21st-Ranked Miami Remains Undefeated After Win

21st-ranked Miami University extended their perfect season to 28-0 with a 74-64 victory at Eastern Michigan.

Brant Byers led four RedHawks in double figures with 16 points, while Peter Suder recorded a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Suder also reached a milestone by scoring his 1,500th career point.

Miami remains the only unbeaten team in Division I basketball, improving to 28-0 overall and 15-0 in the Mid-American Conference. The RedHawks will face Western Michigan on Friday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m.
