Rockford to Host 2027 Women’s Baseball World Cup Finals

Rockford, Illinois will host the 2027 WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup Finals at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park from July 19‑25, after hosting the 2026 group stage.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation announced that Rockford will stage the 2027 Women’s Baseball World Cup Finals, the championship’s second stage, at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park from July 19‑25. The city also hosted the 2026 group stage, marking the first time the event is held in Illinois.

The finals will crown the world’s best women’s baseball team, with Japan the reigning champion after seven titles and Team USA the 2004 and 2006 winners. Rockford’s commitment to women’s baseball is highlighted by renovations to Beyer Stadium and the city’s reputation as a dynamic sports destination.
