The 49ers have met with 19 prospects so far during NFL Draft season

With the NFL Combine underway, we will hear about the different prospects the San Francisco 49ers have met with. We’ll do our best to keep the running list of players the team has met with at this week’s event and at previous All-Star Games. Plus, there is the Pro Bowl circuit in March; the 49ers brass are sure to attend.

The 49ers have historically drafted the players they met with. Instead of focusing on the player names, it might be better to focus on the positions the team is focused on. Of the 19 prospects we were able to find that the Niners met with on the world wide web, unsurprisingly, cornerbacks and edge rusher leads the way:

As you can see, none of these players is projected to go in the first three rounds. That could change as the week goes along at the NFL Combine, but the number of cornerbacks gives some legs to the rumor that Renardo Green could be on the move this offseason.
