Oilers Trade $3.6M Forward Mangiapane to Blackhawks

The Edmonton Oilers have traded forward Andrew Mangiapane to the Chicago Blackhawks to clear cap space for other moves ahead of the NHL trade deadline.

The deal sends Mangiapane and a 2027 first-round pick (Top 12 protected) to Chicago, while the Oilers receive forward Colton Dach and Jason Dickinson.

This move addresses the declining production of the former 35-goal scorer, allowing Edmonton to focus on roster flexibility.
