F1 Extends Kayo Deal, Disappoints Aussie Fans

Formula 1 has extended its broadcasting agreement with Kayo Sports in Australia, disappointing fans who had hoped for an Apple TV option.

The deal extension, announced just before this weekend's Australian Grand Prix, has drawn criticism from Australian fans who took to social media to express their disappointment. Many called Kayo 'prohibitively expensive' and predicted future price hikes, while others lamented that the sport was becoming inaccessible to younger viewers.

Notably, the Australian GP will continue to be shown for free by Network 10, and Kayo recently added an F1TV commentary option after complaints about Sky Sports bias toward British driver Lando Norris. The streaming service initially carried only the Sky Sports UK feed.
