The ESPN simulation, which featured team reporters representing interested franchises, revealed that Willis preferred the Vikings' one-year offer over the Cardinals' two-year, $33M deal and the Jets' two-year, $40M offer. According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, Willis chose Minnesota to maximize his value for the following offseason while playing in a solid offensive structure.
Teams can begin negotiating with Willis on Monday. The Browns, Dolphins and Steelers, who were among the six teams considered top landing spots, did not make offers due to salary cap concerns.
