Sharks End 5-Game Skid with Win Over Oilers

Shakir Mukhamadullin's third-period goal gave the San Jose Sharks a 5-4 win over the Edmonton Oilers, ending their five-game winless streak.

The Sharks had been 0-4-1 since January 27 when they blew a 3-0 lead to Edmonton before losing in overtime. On Saturday, San Jose's Michael Misa, Barclay Goodrow, Alexander Wennberg, and Olympic star Macklin Celebrini also scored, while Yaroslav Askarov made 20 saves. Connor McDavid had three assists for Edmonton, which got goals from Leon Draisaitl, Evan Bouchard, Trent Frederic, and Jake Walman.
