Colorado State's efficient offense ultimately wore down the Spartans, as the Rams shot 62% from the field and 53% from three. Rams guard Brandon Rechsteiner poured in 15 first-half points, making five of six three-point attempts. Spartans head coach Tim Miles acknowledged his team's defensive struggles against one of the nation's best shooting teams.
