No. 21 Miami (OH) rallied from halftime to beat Western Michigan 69-67 after head coach Travis Steele was assessed a technical foul for sending a speaker flying during an outburst.

No. 21 Miami (OH) (29-0, 16-0 MAC) narrowly avoided losing their unbeaten status Friday night, rallying to defeat Western Michigan 69-67 in Kalamazoo. The RedHawks trailed at the half for the sixth time this season and were down nine points with 6:38 remaining before securing the victory.

Head coach Travis Steele was assessed a technical foul before halftime after an emotional outburst that culminated in him sending a speaker flying. Despite the rocky start, Miami maintained their perfect record and remain the lone unbeaten team in Division I men's college basketball.
