Kulkarni Appointed Oman Men’s Cricket Head Coach

Sulakshan Kulkarni, former Mumbai wicketkeeper and Ranji Trophy coach, has been appointed head coach of Oman’s men’s cricket team, succeeding Duleep Mendis.

Oman Cricket announced on Saturday that former Mumbai wicketkeeper Sulakshan Kulkarni will take over as head coach of the national men’s team, replacing Duleep Mendis who has become Chief Development Officer.

Kulkarni, who led Maharashtra in the 2024-25 Ranji season and guided Mumbai to a 2012-13 title, will aim to steer Oman toward qualification for the 2024 50‑over World Cup, with upcoming ICC CWC League 2 series in Nepal and Namibia.
