Ferguson inspiring Hearts' bid for Scottish title history

Hearts manager Derek McInnes says Manchester United legend Alex Ferguson is providing valuable guidance in the club's pursuit of a historic Scottish Premiership title.

McInnes, who is bidding to become the first non-Celtic or Rangers manager to win the title since 1985, revealed he spoke to Ferguson ahead of Saturday's clash with Aberdeen.

Ferguson will be in attendance for the match, which Hearts lead the table in. The 84-year-old is rooting for the Jambos to end the Old Firm duopoly and believes his experience will be crucial for the team's success.
