Portland All-Star guard Deni Avdija left Sunday's game against Phoenix with a lower back injury and will not return. Avdija, who was questionable before playing but decided to suit up, lasted just one minute before heading to the locker room.
The guard has been battling lower back issues for weeks and entered the contest averaging 25 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists.
