Towns Leads Knicks Past Bulls, 105-99

Karl-Anthony Towns recorded his NBA-leading 39th double-double with 28 points and 11 rebounds, helping the New York Knicks defeat the Chicago Bulls 105-99 on Sunday night.

The Knicks secured their second consecutive victory despite the Bulls taking a 95-94 lead late in the fourth quarter. Towns scored six straight points to regain the lead, while Mikal Bridges hit a crucial 3-pointer with 27 seconds remaining. Jalen Brunson sealed the win with free throws, finishing with 19 points and nine assists.

The Bulls suffered their ninth straight loss, their longest skid since January 2019. Chicago was without injured guards Jaden Ivey and Anfernee Simons, while the Knicks played without center Mitchell Robinson. Landry Shamet added 16 points for New York.
