Despite mounting pressure from fans and criticism over his management, Rayo Vallecano owner Raul Martin Presa has turned down offers to sell the club, including a €100m bid from Chinese interests and €150m from Catalan investment fund Strategic Value Partners.
The Madrid government has confirmed the club's stadium will remain in Vallecas, rejecting Presa's plans for relocation. President Isabel Diaz Ayuso stated the stadium will be renovated to improve safety and capacity, with Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism Mariano de Paco echoing this commitment after recent match cancellations due to unsafe conditions.
