Tyler Linderbaum to receive offers that make him NFL's highest paid center
The Ravens have said all the right things about their commitment to Tyler Linderbaum, and GM Eric DeCosta added some intrigue to the negotiations. Linderbaum had his fifth-year option denied and will test free agency. There has been some talk that Baltimore may not step up to the plate with a lucrative offer. DeCosta dismissed those reports, telling the media at the NFL Scouting Combine that the team has made a "market-setting" offer to the Pro Bowl center.
DeCosta's comments about an offer come days before the new league year, and according to ESPN's Dan Graziano, that offer still may not be enough.
According to reports, Linderbaum is expected to receive offers that exceed $20 million per season, easily making him the highest-paid center in NFL history.
Meanwhile, the Ravens hope they can keep free agent center Tyler Linderbaum. But plenty of people in Indy believe he will get offers that exceed $20 million per year, and that Baltimore won't want to go that high. The highest-paid center in the league is Kansas City's Creed Humphrey at $18 million per year, and while GM Eric DeCosta told reporters at the combine that the Ravens had made a "market-setting offer" for Linderbaum, that might not turn out to be enough. Baltimore is already looking out for upgrades at guard (it would not be a surprise to see it address that position in the first round of the draft) and now could need a new center.
Linderbaum, the team's top pending free agent, said he "absolutely" wants to return. The Ravens did not pick up his fifth-year option last offseason, but he still could return on a deal that puts him in the top five highest-paid centers.
A 2022 first-round pick out of Iowa (25th overall), Lnderbaum has been named to the Pro Bowl three times, and how he views the Ravens will be something to watch with March 9 approaching. In 2025, Linderbaum remained one of the best run-blocking centers in the NFL. His 83.1 PFF run-blocking grade ranked fourth at the position.

New food at Milwaukee Brewers games includes fair fare
Some things just go together, like fair fare in the summertime.
Milwaukee Brewers fans will be able to get their fill of it right at the ballpark this season. A "Fair Foods" stand is one of the new culinary offerings at American Family Field for 2026.
The team announced its lineup of new food options, including that one, for the upcoming season in a March 2 news release.
The 3rd St. Market Hall Annex is expanding, and a barbecue vendor is coming to The Alley Food Truck Park, according to the news release. Both the Annex and The Alley focus on local vendors and nontraditional ballpark fare.
"By bringing Wisconsin‑based vendors and family‑run businesses into American Family Field, the Brewers aim to elevate the gameday experience while providing meaningful opportunities for local partners to reach new audiences," the release said.
There will be a handful of new concession offerings, too.
The Brewers kick off their regular season at home on March 26 against the Chicago White Sox. Tickets can be purchased online at brewers.com/Tickets or at the AmFam Field Box Office.
In the meantime, here's a preview of the new food options at the stadium for the upcoming season:
New 'Fair Foods' stand
"With bold flavors and whimsical specials, Fair Foods delivers a taste of the fair season at every home game at American Family Field," the release said.
The "Fair Foods" stand menu will include:
- Deep-fried kringle
- Corn dogs
- Cream puffs
- Nachos on a stick
3rd St. Market Hall Annex adds two new stands
The 3rd St. Market Hall Annex – located at right-field loge level – is expanding with these two new stands:
Bebe Zito: Its ballpark menu will include chicken sandwiches, tenders and fries, and its signature “chicken ice cream,” a sweet Carmelia chocolate core surrounded by butterscotch and caramelized corn flakes in the shape of a chicken drumstick.
A sweets stand: Its offerings will include Bebe Zito ice cream and dirty sodas, Drip Chocolate chocolate-dipped treats and Can-D Shop self-serve candy selections.
New Alley Food Truck Park vendor
K&L’s BBQ will be joining The Alley Food Truck Park, on the left-field loge level.
Its menu will include pulled pork and brisket sandwiches, brisket burgers, and pulled pork- and brisket-loaded fries.
The food truck park made its ballpark debut last season.
New concession options
- Cheese steaks (Located at Field Level kiosk).
- The Sticky Maple Chicken Sandwich (Located at chicken stands).
- Al Pastor Topped Dog (Located at Topped Dog stands).

Lions agree to trade David Montgomery to Texans
Running back David Montgomery publicly denied the report that he wanted out of Detroit.
Well, he's now headed elsewhere anyway.
According to multiple reports, the Lions have agreed to trade Montgomery to the Texans.
Via Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Lions will receive a Houston fourth-round pick, offensive lineman Juice Scruggs, and a seventh-round pick in exchange for Montgomery.
Montgomery, 28, saw his role in Detroit’s offense reduced in 2025 as Jahmyr Gibbs continued to ascend at running back. He finished the season with 716 yards rushing with eight touchdowns, also catching 24 passes for 192 yards.
Lions General Manager Brad Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell expressed a desire to keep Montgomery around at the scouting combine last week. But that plan has apparently changed with the Texans’ offer.
Woody Marks led the Texans last season with 703 yards rushing with Nick Chubb finishing second with 506 yards on the ground. Joe Mixon did not play after sitting out the season with an injury.
The Montgomery trade cannot become official until the start of the new league year on March 11.
Thunder adding Payton Sandfort on two-way contract
Shams Charania: The Oklahoma City Thunder are signing Payton Sandfort to a two-way NBA contract out of their OKC Blue G League affiliate, Ross Aroyo and Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports tell ESPN. Sandfort joined the OKC program after being undrafted from Iowa last June.
