Gateshead bring in Grimsby winger Gilsenan on loan

Gateshead have signed Grimsby winger Zak Gilsenan on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old Irishman recently scored three goals in nine league appearances on loan at National League North side Buxton.

Gilsenan, who joined the Mariners from Blackburn last summer, could make his Heed debut against fellow strugglers Braintree on Wednesday.

Gateshead are 10 points adrift of safety in the National League.
