Rory McIlroy won the prestigious Seminole Pro-Member event with his father, Gerry, on Monday.
The tournament pairs world-class professionals with amateurs for 18 holes at one of Florida’s best golf courses.
Rickie Fowler, Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, and Nelly Korda were all in the field.
McIlroy’s victory suggests his game is in top order ahead of an important stretch on the PGA Tour.
Rory and Gerry McIlroy win Seminole Pro-Member
Rory and Gerry McIlroy won the gross event at the Seminole Pro-Member with a score of 63.
They finished two strokes ahead of Rickie Fowler’s team in second and three ahead of Collin Morikawa’s team in joint-third.
Meanwhile, in the net event, Morikawa and his partner, David Novak, beat the McIlroys by a scorecard playoff.
Given that Chris Gotterup and Brooks Koepka’s respective teams shot in the 70s, Rory and Gerry must have played exceptionally well.
Gerry reportedly has a handicap close to scratch, so Rory might not have carried him to victory, as you might expect.

Rory McIlroy will now be expected to continue his excellent form at the Arnold Palmer Invitational this week.
The Northern Irishman finished T2 at the Genesis Invitational and T14 at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am recently.
His game is trending in the right direction ahead of the Masters next month, and a victory at Bay Hill would be perfect preparation.
McIlroy last won the Arnold Palmer in 2018, so he is due for another big performance in Orlando.
