The Cleveland Browns have made their first big move of the off-season.
Cleveland acquired right tackle Tytus Howard from the Houston Texans for a fifth-round pick, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Monday.
The Browns signed also Howard to a three-year, $63-million contract extension, per Schefter.
Howard, a first-round pick in 2019, has spent his entire seven-year career in Houston.
He has appeared in 93 games, including 16 in each of the past two seasons.
Now, he’ll be in charge of protecting Browns QB Shedeur Sanders as he looks to lead Cleveland back to the playoffs under new head coach Todd Monken.
