Simone Inzaghi is facing a familiar crisis with the former Inter Milan coach under pressure at Al-Hilal after a stuttering run of results and his position at the Saudi giants now reportedly in question.
According to Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, Inzaghi is “reliving what happened with Inter,” a pointed reference to the turbulent end to his Nerazzurri tenure.
Al-Hilal sit third in the Saudi Pro League after drawing four of their last six games.
The January arrival of Benzema was meant to provide a spark.
However, the French striker has since picked up an injury, further complicating Inzaghi’s situation.

Despite his lucrative contract, his job security is no longer guaranteed.
Al-Hilal remain in contention on multiple fronts.
They face Al-Shabab tonight in a must-win league clash.
In early March, they enter the Asian Champions League last 16 against Roberto Mancini’s Al-Sadd.
A King’s Cup semi-final against Al-Ahli also awaits, the Saudi equivalent of the Coppa Italia.
Whether Inzaghi survives long enough to see those fixtures through remains to be seen.
