Canadian curling legend Brad Gushue will have home-ice advantage in his final Montana’s Brier as the national men’s championship kicks off in St. John’s, N.L. The field features recent Olympic gold medalist and defending champion Brad Jacobs.
The event runs Feb. 27 to March 8. Teams are split into Pool A and Pool B. Pool A includes Canada (Jacobs), Newfoundland and Labrador (Gushue), and Nova Scotia. Pool B features defending Olympic champion Kevin Koe and Manitoba's Matt Dunstone. The round-robin schedule begins Friday, Feb. 27, with Gushue facing Quebec and Jacobs facing Prince Edward Island. Top teams advance to the Page Playoffs.
