Jones, who worked with defensive coordinator Jim Knowles at Duke, brings extensive experience coaching SEC football and developing cornerbacks for the NFL. He replaces Michael Hunter, who departed for the Los Angeles Rams shortly after joining Tennessee.
The Volunteers have significantly rebuilt their cornerback room this offseason, with Jones entering the role just weeks before spring practice begins. The orange and white game is scheduled for April 11th.
