Former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler has signed a minor league deal with the San Diego Padres. Buehler, who pitched for the Dodgers from 2017-24, turned down a $20 million offer before joining Boston and Philadelphia last season.
The right-hander had a 5.45 ERA in 23 appearances with Boston before being released, then posted a 0.66 ERA in three games with Philadelphia. Buehler could help fill a need in the Padres' rotation after they lost several pitchers this offseason.
