RJ McCoy and Robert McKinney became the first Lafayette Jeff wrestlers to reach the IHSAA state championship since 2021, after finishing third at 150 and second at 215 pounds at the semi‑state.

McCoy and McKinney made history at the IHSAA semi‑state, placing third in the 150‑lb bracket and second in the 215‑lb bracket. They are the first Lafayette Jeff wrestlers to reach state since Jacob Raub in 2021.
