Curling Match Erupts Over Cheating Allegations

A heated curling match at the Winter Olympics erupted in controversy when Canadian Marc Kennedy was accused of cheating by Swedish rival Oskar Eriksson during their 8-6 victory.

Kennedy vehemently denied the "double-touching" allegations, using expletives as the match briefly came to a standstill. The 44-year-old Kennedy expressed his offense at being accused of cheating after 25 years on tour and four Olympic Games, telling Eriksson where to 'stick it.'

Eriksson defended his actions, stating, 'We want a game that is as sportsmanlike, honest and clean as possible.' Replays appeared to show Kennedy touching the stone again after releasing it, but World Curling took no action against either team.
