Kelly: Spurs survival relies on others doing worse

Former Tottenham defender Stephen Kelly believes the team's Premier League survival will only happen if other teams perform worse, as Spurs are joint-bottom of the form table across the past six games.

Stephen Kelly, former Tottenham defender, has expressed grave concerns about the club's Premier League prospects, stating that survival will "only" occur if other teams perform worse. The Lilywhites are currently joint-bottom of the form table alongside 20th-placed Wolves, with no domestic victories since December.

p>With upcoming fixtures against Fulham, Crystal Palace, and Liverpool, all of whom won over the weekend, Kelly acknowledges the "gulf in class" between Spurs and top teams like Arsenal. "The worrying part is the enormous difference in everything – pace, power, passing," Kelly told BBC Radio 5 Live, adding that the team needs improved mentality to perform at home and turn around their fortunes.
