Woods Signs One-Day Deal to Retire as Ram

Veteran wide receiver Robert Woods has signed a one-day contract with the Los Angeles Rams to officially retire as a member of the team after 13 NFL seasons.

After 13 seasons in the NFL, including five with the Rams, Woods decided to end his career with the team that drafted him in 2017. He appeared in 68 games for the Rams, recording 367 receptions for 4,626 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Woods was instrumental in the Rams' Super Bowl LVI championship in 2021, posting 45 receptions for 556 yards that season. He also recorded two 1,000-yard campaigns with the team in 2018 and 2019, finishing his career as a two-time team captain.
