The Atlanta Braves have locked up ace Chris Sale with a one-year, $27 million contract for the 2027 season and a $30 million club option for 2028.
Sale, 36, was set for free agency but will remain in Atlanta after winning the NL Cy Young Award last season. He has posted elite numbers since joining the Braves in 2024, compiling 10.0 fWAR over 303 innings.
