Swindon Town top scorer Aaron Drinan can reach any level of the game, believes manager Ian Holloway after the striker agreed a new deal with the club.
Drinan has signed an extended contract with the League Two promotion-chasers until summer 2028, having scored 24 goals in all competitions so far this season.
The 27-year-old, who joined Swindon in January 2024 from Leyton Orient, was subject to an offer from another club during the winter transfer window which Holloway said the Robins turned down.
"It's not very often you get offered £400,000 for someone and that's how you should behave as a club - if you turn something down, you should reward them," Holloway told BBC Radio Wiltshire.
Drinan's 18 league goals this season are the most of any player across the top four divisions of English football, other than Manchester City's Erling Haaland who has 22.
"His understanding of when to run... we've always known he could run fast but the timing of his runs, the understanding he's gaining, his mind is working quicker than it was before," Holloway said.
"Aaron's improvement in that has been completely off the planet and that's why I believe there's no level he can't get to.
"And I've convinced him that he should stay with us because he's enjoying it, the people love him and we're going to be a good team who are going to get him some good passes."
Drinan added it was an "easy" decision to stay for another two and a half years at the County Ground.
"They want to get promoted, I want to get promoted, they are in a really good place at the minute," he said.
"The club wants to move in the same direction as me which is upwards. It made it quite easy."
