Top-flight German football is being shown live on the BBC this season after rights were secured to broadcast Friday night Bundesliga matches through to 2027.
The coverage will continue on Friday, 13 February when Borussia Dortmund look to close the gap on Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich as they host in-form Mainz.
Matches will be available to watch live on the BBC Sport website, app and on BBC iPlayer every Friday, with clips of the biggest in-game moments across BBC Sport's social media channels.
Who plays next?
Borussia Dortmund are the most in form team in the Bundesliga. They boast a 14-match unbeaten run and have won each of their last five matches, scoring 14 goals and keeping two clean sheets across these games.
Dortmund will also be looking forward to playing on a Friday again, being unbeaten in their last three Friday night fixtures. This includes two wins over Augsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach, and a 3-3 thriller against Eintracht Frankfurt in their first match back after the winter break. A win on Friday night would close the gap on league leaders Bayern Munich to three points.
Mainz 05 have managed to find some form in their last few matches, winning their last three, including a 2-1 upset away at RB Leipzig. They are only one of two teams to win their last three Bundesliga matches, the other being Dortmund, and this run of form has seen them leap out of the bottom three for the first time since October.
Mainz will also be looking for their first Friday night win of the season, after a 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim and a 1-0 defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach. A win for the Zero-Fives on Friday night would see them jump up to tenth in the league.
This fixture has been played out 39 times across all competitions, with Dortmund winning 22 of these matches compared to Mainz's seven. BVB will also have their tails up heading into the match having beaten their opponents 2-0 away from home earlier in the season.
