The 2026 NFL combine has kicked off in Indianapolis, Indiana, with Cleveland Browns GM Andrew Berry speaking to the media on Tuesday. New HC Todd Monken will follow suit early Wednesday afternoon. With NFL free agency right around the corner and the Browns having two picks in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft, the focus has been on Cleveland’s offensive line.

OL Wyatt Teller has said his goodbyes, OL Joel Bitonio is still deciding what his future might hold, while OTs Cam Robinson and Jack Conklin join C Ethan Pocic to complete an entire offensive line hitting free agency this offseason.

The line wasn’t very good last year as injuries and poor play ravaged the Browns performance.

During Monken’s introductory press conference, he noted that he does not run a specific offensive system. Cleveland’s new head coach, who will also call plays on that side of the ball, noted that he plans his system around the talent on the field. With the Browns potentially replacing the entire offensive line, Berry and the front office could be in a unique position trying to build the right combination.

Berry does not see the options as either/or when it comes to man/power blockers versus zone/movement-oriented players. Instead, Berry quickly rattled off what Monken worked with on the Baltimore Ravens offensive line to show how variety can work well together:

Berry brought up Linderbaum’s name twice during his time with the media at the Combine.

He also referenced how the Chicago (soon to be Indiana) Bears rebuilt their offensive line on the fly last offseason:

When it comes to internal development, Cleveland’s roster has a couple of players who could fit the Darnell Wright role that Berry mentioned. OT Dawand Jones, who has been injured each of his first three seasons, and Luke Wypler and Zak Zinter, who have seen minimal time on the field, could make sense. Berry noted that Wypler should be ready to go off of his late-season injury and gave an update on Jones’ health and future:

Using the Ravens and Bears as models for Cleveland’s offseason, the Browns offensive line will not be pigeonholed into just one type of lineman or just acquiring players in the draft.

Projecting off of Berry’s comments, Monken’s new offensive line could look like this next year:

LT: First round draft pick (Francis Mauigoa/Spencer Fano/Monroe Freeling)
LG: Joel Bitonio or solid/cheap free agent
C: Tyler Linderbaum
RG: Teven Jenkins (re-signed)
RT: Dawand Jones

How do you read into Berry’s comments about the Browns offensive line from the NFL combine? How would you feel about the above offensive line if it were to happen?
