All eyes are on Indianapolis as the league has descended upon Lucas Oil Stadium for the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine. First-year Ravens head coach Jesse Minter was front and center on Tuesday morning for his state-of-the-team address.
Here are notes and takeaways from the 45-minute session.
Jesse Minter on Nnamdi Madubuike
The Ravens are retooling and preparing for the 2026 season, but most Ravens fans and analysts are eager for news on Pro Bowl defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike. Madubuike was placed on injured reserve with a neck injury before the Ravens' 37-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Minter says he has spoken with Nnamdi Madubuike but will keep private and said time & place and info on an update will be up to him. #Ravens

Jesse Minter on Tyler Linderbaum
Echoing Eric DeCosta's sentiments, Minter confirmed that Baltimore aims to retain the All-Pro offensive lineman, stating that Linderbaum is the best center in the NFL.
Jesse Minter likewise says Tyler Linderbaum is the best center in the league. Also sounds like he’s keeping the dynamics of his relationship with Lamar Jackson between them #Ravenspic.twitter.com/EXPCS2HciQ

Jesse Minter on the trenches
Ronnie Stanley and Roger Rosengarten were both solid and above average in 2026, while Tyler Linderbaum, who could depart, earned Pro Bowl honors.
The Ravens' offensive line struggled at times, with the very apparent weak spot at offensive guard. Daniel Faalele is a free agent and should depart, while Andrew Vorhees is a cut candidate. In 969 snaps, Vorhees allowed three sacks, and his 54.6 grade from PFF was 60th out of 81 offensive guards. Rookie Emery Jones Jr. spent most of the season rehabbing a shoulder injury, but he only had a 50+ PFF grade in the three games he was active.
Jesse Minter says he believes it's an "O-line, D-line-driven league."

Jesse Minter on Ravens run-schemes
A predictable rushing offense will now attack opposing defensive units from a multitude of different fronts, formations, and schematics.
Minter says #Ravens will use a variety of run schemes (O-line coach Dwayne Ledford ran a lot of outside zone in Atlanta)
