It was a busy Monday night for Manchester United.

In addition to the senior men's side winning at Everton, United's youngsters cruised to a Premier League 2 victory at Leicester City, with striker Chido Obi scoring all four goals in an impressive 4-1 win that keeps them top of the table.

Chido has found some form again after a difficult campaign, in which he has been overlooked at first-team level despite making his senior debut last season.

The Denmark Under-21 international is going to be a key figure as United chase silverware on multiple fronts at youth level.

In addition to their Premier League 2 campaign – United lead Chelsea and Ipswich Town by two points with a game in hand – which concludes in end of season play-offs, United also play Real Madrid next month in a Premier League International Cup quarter-final.

Although United have used Old Trafford for a couple of games in that tournament already this season, with the club's women's team playing matches against Bayern Munich and Manchester City at the main stadium in quick succession, the high-profile encounter might be played at Leigh.

In addition, Chido is available for United's under-18 team, which is going for silverware on two fronts under coach Darren Fletcher.

They entertain West Ham at Carrington on 4 March in the Premier League Under-18 Cup – the final has to be played in a stadium – while they will also take on Brighton or Sunderland in the FA Youth Cup quarter-final in a game likely to be played at Old Trafford next month.
