When is Steph Curry coming back to Warriors?

It's been a disappointing season for the Golden State Warriors, to say the least.

At the time of this writing, the Warriors are just barely holding onto the final playoff spot in the Western Conference with a 29-27 record. In what Golden State hoped would be a title-contending season, it is a fledgling playoff team, kind of, sort of, playing out the string. Even worse, franchise superstar Steph Curry is dealing with a nagging knee injury. That's why Curry isn't playing in Sunday afternoon's home spotlight game against the Denver Nuggets, which, with his 18th game missed on the season, will render him ineligible for end-of-NBA-season awards. Oof.

When might Curry come back? It's unclear, which probably makes the Warriors and their fans even more anxious about the rest of their season.

If Curry's latest injury update says he'll be reevaluated in 10 days on February 19th, that means he could come back for a March 2nd home game against the L.A. Clippers. So, he's about to miss the Warriors' next four games. But that, of course, assumes he'll be cleared in the first place after the fact. All the Warriors are doing is providing a timeline while being cautious with their aging talisman. There is no guarantee he'll be healthy by that early March timeline.

It's not an ideal situation for Curry and the Warriors, but it's a needle they have to thread.
