Where Eagles land on way-too-early 2026 NFL power rankings originally appeared on NBC Sports Philadelphia
The Eagles won 11 games and earned a second straight NFC East crown in 2025 … but it was still a disappointing season.
Coming off a Super Bowl LIX victory there was a real hope that the Eagles would at least be able to come close to a repeat and that didn’t happen. Their offense sputtered for much of the season and the Eagles lost at home to the banged-up 49ers in the wild-card round.
Now it’s time to turn our attention to 2026.
The Eagles should look different next season with a new offensive coordinator and new offensive staff. We’ll also see how different the roster looks next season; there will definitely be some changes.
The Eagles are tied for the fourth-shortest odds to win Super Bowl LXI next year in Los Angeles. Here’s a look at the top 10 from Draft Kings:
Seahawks: +950
Rams: +950
Bills: +1100
Eagles: +1300
Patriots: +1300
Ravens: +1300
Packers: +1400
Lions: +1400
Chargers: +1500
Chiefs: +1500
As we continue to look ahead to the 2026 season, here’s a roundup of where the Eagles rank on way-too-early power rankings for next season:
These four lists all have the Eagles in the top 10 but the highest they get is No. 5. Their average spot based on these rankings is No. 7.
Their highest ranking comes from Fox Sports’ Ralph Vacchiano, who writes: “Well, they are on an every-other-year plan with the Super Bowl. They’re also still talented enough to be the class of their division.”
The only teams ahead of the Eagles on the Fox Sports’ list are the Patriots at 4, Seahawks at 3, Rams at 2 and Broncos at 1.
Some teams from the other lists who were ranked ahead of the Eagles: Lions, 49ers, Bills, Chiefs, Bears, Jaguars, Broncos.
