The Atlanta Falcons are going in a new direction under head coach Kevin Stefanski and general manager Ian Cunningham, but they have a solid foundation on both sides of the ball. The team still needs to address a few positions, and without a first-round pick, free agency will be more important than ever.
The wide receiver position has to be near the top of the list for the Falcons this offseason. Drake London is a budding star in this league, but he missed time last season and there's a lack of overall depth behind him. Darnell Mooney was banged up for much of the year, which hindered his production.
Plus, the Falcons released Ray-Ray McCloud during the season and never found a capable third option. Tight end Kyle Pitts emerged as the team's top pass-catcher in 2025, but his contract is up and there's no guarantee he will return in 2026.
With that in mind, let's take a look at seven wide receiver options for the Falcons in free agency.
1). WR Romeo Doubs
- Age: 25
- 2025 stats: 55 catches, 724 yards, 6 TD
The Falcons could use a quality No. 2 or No. 3 option to open up the rest of the offense in 2026. Doubs had 55 catches for 724 receiving yards and six touchdowns last season. While Doubs never quite developed into that next star receiver for the Packers, he has consistently improved over the last four seasons. At 25 years old, Doubs still has plenty of upside. PFF projects he will land a three-year, $45 million contract in free agency.
2). WR Rashid Shaheed
- Age: 27
- 2025 stats: 59 catches, 687 yards, 2 TD
Shaheed seems like an ideal fit due to his game-breaking speed and special teams ability. The former Saints wide receiver was traded to the Seahawks during the season and helped Seattle win the Super Bowl. Shaheed finished with 59 catches for 687 receiving yards last year, and has 153 career receptions for 2,243 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns over four NFL seasons. The Falcons released return man Jamal Agnew, so there's a need for a versatile receiver with return ability.
3). WR Jauan Jennings
- Age: 28
- 2025 stats: 55 catches, 643 yards, 9 TD
A former seventh-round pick, Jennings has come on strong for the 49ers in the last few years. Despite the team's injuries at quarterback in 2025, Jennings recorded a career-high nine touchdowns. Over the past two seasons combined, Jennings has 132 catches for 1,618 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns in 25 starts. PFF is projecting the 28-year-old to sign a three-year, $50 million contract in free agency.
4). WR Wan'Dale Robinson
- Age: 25
- 2025 stats: 92 catches, 1,014 yards, 4 TD
Robinson is the biggest name on this list, even if he's the smallest in stature. The Giants wide receiver finished the 2025 season with 92 receptions for a career-high 1,014 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Pairing the 5-foot-8 Robinson with the 6-foot-4 London would give the Falcons a dynamic duo at wide receiver capable of punishing opposing defenses in a variety of ways. Robinson could be a bit pricey, but he's an option if the team lets Pitts walk in free agency.
5). WR Marquise Brown
- Age: 28
- 2025 stats: 49 catches, 587 yards, 5 TD
Brown is another receiver who fits as a No. 2/No. 3 option to complement London and Mooney. The Chiefs thought he would produce at the level of a No. 1 receiver, and while he didn't live up to his contract, the Falcons would have more realistic expectations if they were to sign Brown. Last season, he caught 49 balls for 587 receiving yards and five touchdowns. The former first-round pick topped 1,000 yards with the Ravens back in 2021. PFF projects Brown will get a one-year, $6.5 million contract in free agency.
6). WR Olamide Zaccheaus
- Age: 28
- 2025 stats: 39 catches, 313 yards, 2 TD
Olamide Zaccheaus originally broke into the league with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He played three seasons with Matt Ryan (2019-2021) and posted a career-high 533 receiving yards in 2022 before leaving in free agency. Zaccheaus topped 500 receiving yards again with the Washington Commanders in 2024. Last season, he had 39 catches for 313 yards and two scores for the Chicago Bears. Zaccheaus would be a solid veteran addition to a thin wide receiver room.
7). WR Tyreek Hill
- Age: 31
- 2025 stats: 21 catches, 265 yards, 1 TD
Hill is the most established receiver on this list but appeared in just four games last season due to a torn ACL. The veteran wideout has made eight Pro Bowls and five All-Pro teams since entering the league back in 2016. Hill has topped the 1,000-yard receiving mark six times in his NFL career, finishing with over 1,700 receiving yards in both 2022 and 2023. We imagine Hill will sign a one-year, incentive-laden deal
