In Carate Brianza, Giovanni Renna's AC Milan Primaverabeat Napoli 2-1 on matchday 26 of the Primavera 1 division, following up their 2-1 away victory over Genoa. After a first half where the Rossoneri had plenty of possession but created few clear-cut chances, Filippo Scotti took centre stage after the restart. His free-kick into the top corner was a masterpiece of precision and power, and his second goal, finishing a counter-attack orchestrated to perfection, was the icing on the cake of a fantastic individual performance.
Late in the game, Gorica's penalty brought the Partenopei back into the contest, but the Rossoneri held firm, showing composure and maturity. Scotti, with his decisive brace, continued scintillating form, while Bouyer was a solid presence between the sticks, shutting down the few Napoli opportunities and only conceding from the spot. The Rossoneri move up to 37 points in the table, where they sit on the fringes of the playoff places. Their next challenge is an away trip to league leaders Roma, another key fixture in their season.
