Tottenham demand €25m for Guglielmo Vicario

Inter have identified Guglielmo Vicario as their absolute priority to take over the starting role between the posts, as the club prepares for life after Yann Sommer.

According to L’Interista, the Nerazzurri are planning for the summer departure of Sommer, whose contract is set to expire. Vicario has emerged as the top target to succeed the Swiss veteran, and the Italian champions are keen to bring the former Empoli man back to Serie A. Currently at Tottenham, the North London club has reportedly set an initial asking price of €25m to sanction a sale.

While the valuation is significant, the report suggests there is an openness from Spurs to negotiate on the final fee, a factor that could heavily favor Inter’s pursuit. The management at Viale della Liberazione is eager to avoid a protracted transfer saga and aims to find a definitive agreement quickly. By securing Vicario early, Inter hope to solidify their defensive foundations well ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
