TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Trojans are red hot.
The Topeka girls basketball team won its 8th straight game Friday night, beating Emporia at home 58-40.
Ahsieryrhuajh Rayton scored 20 for the Trojans in the win, while Trish Short added 13.
Sasha Gotru had 10, and the Homecoming Queen Keimara Marshall had eight in the win.
For Emporia, Maycee Davis had a game-high 23 points in the loss. Kaylee DeWitt had 10.
