Real Madrid starlet Diego Aguado has been seen as one of La Fabrica’s coveted gems for a while now, and it does not require much to see why.
Already an U-19 international for Spain and a part of the national team for the U-20 World Cup held last year, his quality and ceiling are well known.
In fact, he exploded onto the scene under Alvaro Arbeloa with the Juvenil A last season where he served as an undisputed starter and is now a part of the Castilla setup.
Change in agency
As reported by MARCA in a recent update, the prodigal Real Madrid starlet has now changed his representative agency at what appears to be a pivotal point in his career.
Having parted ways with his former agent, he will now he represented by the agency ‘Best of you’ – one which already represents the likes of Casemiro, Hugo Gonzalez, Arbeloa, Jacobo Ramon, Mario Martin and Gonzalo Garcia.

The change in agent comes at an opportune time, for many feel that Aguado is now at a stage of his career where one of two events must happen – an integration with the first team or a move away to a top division club interested in him, as was the case with Jacobo Ramon.
A defender by trade, it is clear that he does have his chances of making it into Arbeloa’s plans if one considers his relationship with the manager and the team’s need for depth in the department.
Concurrently, however, it would not be a bad idea for him to leave on a short-term loan and hope for a return to the club with more experience under his belt.
A lot, needless to say, will depend on Real Madrid’s transfer plans at centre-back and what happens to Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba.
