Clemson football WR gets tabbed as instant impact signee by big outlet

Clemson continues to gain national recognition for its 2026 recruiting class, and one of its newest pieces is already drawing early praise.

On Friday, Rivals included Clemson wide receiver signee Naeem Burroughs among its “Instant Impact Signees,” a list highlighting prospects expected to make an early impression at the college level.

Before Clemson Burroughs was a consensus four-star prospect according to Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN … ranked by Rivals as the nation’s No. 35 overall prospect, as the class’ sixth-best wide receiver and the fourth-best player in Florida … listed by 247Sports as the No. 91 overall prospect in his class and as the No. 11 player in Florida and No. 12 wide receiver prospect … rated as the No. 102 national prospect by ESPN, which also listed him as Florida’s No. 14 prospect and No. 12 at his position 

Burroughs will slot into the wide receiver rotation alongside Tristan Smith, DJ Moore, and Bryant Wesco Jr. The recruits alongside him at the receiver position are Connor Salmin, Gordon Sellars, and Keil McGriff
