Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior will need to work hard on changing one unwanted statistic from this season so far.

Of course, it’s not all down to him. After all, he’s only been in charge at Chelsea since Enzo Maresca was let go halfway through the current campaign. But Chelsea have now dropped 17 points from winning positions this season, with 15 of those coming at Stamford Bridge, this is more than any other side in the league – per Kieran Gill of The Daily Mail.

It comes after Chelsea were 2-0 up against Leeds United in their latest Premier League game last night but ended up throwing it away and drawing the game 2-2 come the final whistle.

After Joao Pedro opened the scoring, which was soon added to by a Cole Palmer penalty, Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior and Chelsea were in dreamland cruising the game. They played some superb football in that first half.

Pedro was fantastic leading the line again, and he earned some rightful praise from his manager after the game in his post-match interview.

But Blues fans would have had that feeling of Deja Vu once again as they watched their side throw away a solid and comfortable lead.

Something they need to work on

The Chelsea manager needs to work on phasing this out of their game now moving forward. It’s likely to be a mental thing, Chelsea just panic when they are under the cosh.

Whatever it is, they need to stamp it out soon. Maybe it just comes with more maturity?
