PUBLISHERS BLURB

A murdered woman…

When the body of a young woman is found in a local park, DC Maggie Jamieson knows she’s dealing with no ordinary killer.  The murder victim has been disfigured; her outfit changed to resemble someone else.  Someone Maggie knows all too well…her close friend Dr Kate Moloney.

A determined detective…

Maggie is determined to keep her friend safe, but with Kate already struggling with a threatening stalker, Maggie now fears Kate’s life is in real danger.  Who else would want to harm Kate and why else would the killer be turning his victims into exact replicas – his living dolls?

Can Maggie find the depraved killer?  Or will Kate become his next living doll?

MY REVIEW

Maggie Jamieson is back!

When Kate Maloney finds out a killer is dressing his victims to look like her, she’s worried to say the least. When she starts to receive letters and gifts, her friend, Maggie, insists she stays with her….until they catch the perpetrator.

Who is Kate’s stalker and can Maggie keep her friend safe?

Dead Perfect is a proper thriller, with twists and turns to keep your heart racing. A police procedural with a creepy edge. A Perfect read.

PUBLISHERS BLURB

The serial killer is behind bars. But the murders are just beginning…

DC Maggie Jamieson’s past comes back to haunt her in this dark and gripping serial killer thriller.

Three missing women running out of time…

They were abducted years ago. Notorious serial killer Bill Raven admitted to killing them and was sentenced to life.

The case was closed – at least DC Maggie Jamieson thought it was…

But now one of them has been found, dismembered and dumped in a bin bag in town.

Forensics reveal that she died just two days ago, when Raven was behind bars, so Maggie has a second killer to find.

Because even if the other missing women are still alive, one thing’s for certain: they don’t have long left to live…

MY REVIEW

#2 in the Maggie Jamieson thriller series but can also be read as a stand-alone.

DC Maggie Jamieson, is single, has her brother living with her after she bailed him out due to his gambling debts and her work colleague and friend, Nathan who was her partner is now her boss…..

A case she worked on previously is now under review as the convicted serial killer, Bill Raven has raised an appeal……when the dismembered body of one of his victims is found, only recently murdered, Maggie’s investigation is under question.

She knows Raven has something to do with this but how can she prove it? When another body turns up more questions than answers are raised.

This is an intense, gripping police procedural with a fantastically well developed character in Maggie. She’s tough, determined and really dogged in her search for the truth. It’s dark, compelling and a real nail biter of a thriller. I can thoroughly recommend it.
